　　there are many arguments about the advantages and disadvantages of eamination.some people think eamination is the only best way to test how eaminees have mastered what they have studied and it is the only measurement for eaminers to select which persons they need.while, on the other hand,some object that eamination cant measure how the students have really studied.they say it can do nothing but burden the students.

　　as for me,i think for both eaminers and eaminees,the eamination can show what and how much the eaminees have mastered.the results of eaminations are just like mirrors for both eaminers and eaminees.

　　through eamination the eaminees can check their work and get aware of which aspects they have not done well,so that theyll make much improvement in their work.as far as eaminees are concerned,they can not only know how they have studied but also find out what they still unknown or what they havent mastered well.thus,they will be inspired to greater efforts to improve their studying method so as to make greater progress.of course too many eaminations are burbens to both eaminers and eaminees.

　　in sum,the eamination does more good than harm for both eaminers and eaminees.we must take a correct attitude towards eamination.we should take full advantage of it and avoid its disadvantage.

　　With the gloomy prospect of returning toschool, many students could suffer from post-holiday syndrome, which refers to a general feelingof depression before returning to campus life, which is caused by irregular lifestyles duringthe holiday. Symptoms include fatigue, lack of appetite and concentration, irritability and afeeling of helplessness.

　　Various reasons can account for it. But most important of all, a large number of studentstend to overindulge themselves in eating, merrymaking and playing around during the holidays,which makes it difficult to adjust to their routine study schedule and life pace on the campus.

　　My suggestions to deal with this syndrome are as follows. First，exercising and sticking toa normal schedule over the holidays will make a difference and nip post-holiday syndrome inthe bud. Besides, it pays to return a few days earlier before the semester starts. The earlyreturn seems to have kept the holiday blues at bay.

With the nearing of the summer vacation, this campaign is especially meaningful for the healthy development of the minors.

　　The internet has brought people great convenience in getting information, entertainment and contact with others, and it has also benefited some businessmen, especially the owner of net-bars. While it is true that most net-bars are running legally, it is also true that some are offering unhealthy programs that involve violence and sex content. Since most middle school students are prone to be influenced and they can hardly tell which bars are doing well and which ones are not, it is only advisable that they stay away from all. 　　on one hand, welfare lottery encourages people to do small kindness for the welfare of others as well as for the profit of oneself. when we read the daily newspapers, we are frequently appraised of the "big kindness" performed by well-to-do philanthropists who donate large sums of money for the establishment of schools, libraries, free hospitals for the poor, orphanages,and the like. these, of course, are laudable acts of charity that deserve wide public acclaim. but in my estimation, not all the people have the financial ability to support these "big kindness",and those many minor acts of kindness performed daily in different situations by public minded citizens who receive no recognition or praise from the mass media are equally commendable.similarly, welfare lottery provide the majority of people a chance to perform this kind of small kindness.

　　on the other hand, in a large city like shanghai, where the general tendency of the people is "to look out only for one＇s own", the atmosphere is cold and miserable for those unable to keep up with the rapid pace of competitions. by launching a personal campaign such as welfare lottery, we can try to remedy the present situation and to make our society a much better place to live in.

　　however, every coin has two sides.lottery,inevitably,has some side effects. as to the general criticism that it encourages some people＇s opportunistic attitudes and makes them unwilling to make a living by finding a job, i believe that the ta system in our society will keep the necessary balance between the poor and the rich, thus maintains the stability and unity of our country.

　　recognition of a problem is the first step toward its solution. since we are now generally aware of the advantages and disadvantages of lottery, it seems necessary that we improve this scheme to meet the public needs. if we are to succeed as a society in 21st century, a better society atmosphere should be created.
