在西方，圣誕節(jié)是一個(gè)重要的節(jié)日，據(jù)說圣誕節(jié)是來紀(jì)念耶穌的，傳說圣誕夜還會(huì)有圣誕老人出現(xiàn)，如果你在床頭掛圣誕襪，圣誕老人可能會(huì)偷偷地在圣誕襪里放上圣誕禮物。而在我們學(xué)校就過了一個(gè)在圣誕夜上過的圣誕晚會(huì)。
讓我們扣人心弦的英語即將來臨，我們個(gè)個(gè)都心潮澎湃。在英語晚會(huì)到來的前幾天，同學(xué)都在忙著把自己班的`教室打扮很絢麗、新穎。我們教室也不賴，在教室的燈上，掛著五顏六色的彩帶，燈一開，彩帶就會(huì)發(fā)出耀眼的光芒，在講臺(tái)上面，還有一串雪花，正中間，還有大鈴鐺，窗子上，到處貼的都是雪花，好像真的下雪了一樣教室的后門最花了，各種彩帶都掛了下來，光彩奪目。我們再把桌子移到周圍，中間空出。教室布置好了，就只要等待英語晚會(huì)到來。
讓我們苦苦等待英語晚會(huì)終于到來了，那天晚上，我們早早地用好晚餐，快步流星地來到教室。英語晚開始了，我們同學(xué)們都把自己帶的零食發(fā)好，接著就打開電視觀看表演，看完，就開始班級表演。同學(xué)們一邊帶著圣誕帽津津有味地吃著零食，一邊欣賞同學(xué)表演的節(jié)目，真是不亦樂乎。第一個(gè)節(jié)目是唱歌，表演完后，掌聲一陣陣響起來，下一組是我表演課本劇，表演完，只聽一陣掌聲，我懸著的心終于放下了。后面幾組表演完后開始玩游戲，接著又開始。過了一會(huì)兒，“圣誕老人”來了，全體同學(xué)都擁了過去，全班立即沸騰起來。
一個(gè)多姿多彩的英語晚會(huì)過完了。

今天，MISS李給我們上第九模塊第一單元：《Letter From Aboad》，課文中涉及到：一般過去式、現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)和一般將來時(shí)等三個(gè)時(shí)態(tài)。我喜歡這篇課文，因?yàn)�，這是一封信，信在我們學(xué)過的課文里“罕見”。
課堂上，老師沒有給我們寫作業(yè)的時(shí)間，布置家庭作業(yè)時(shí)，班里頓時(shí)變得鴉雀無聲，因?yàn)�，有一些不喜歡上英語課的同學(xué)希望作業(yè)少一點(diǎn)。當(dāng)老師說：“今天作業(yè)只抄寫本單元14個(gè)單詞，每個(gè)單詞抄寫10遍”時(shí)，班里立刻熱鬧起來，有的人歡呼雀躍——那些學(xué)習(xí)差的同學(xué)希望作業(yè)少，所以很高興；有的人竊竊私語——學(xué)習(xí)中等的同學(xué)對作業(yè)量無所謂；還有的人長長地嘆了一口氣——學(xué)習(xí)好的同學(xué)為作業(yè)太少而郁悶（大家對作業(yè)的量報(bào)以不同的'態(tài)度）。
回到家，我就開始抄詞，14個(gè)單詞，一共要抄140遍，我很快就完成了，因?yàn)槲易蛱祛A(yù)習(xí)了，順便把單詞背下來了。抄完詞，我又選擇eat和play兩個(gè)詞造句，結(jié)果遇到了攔路虎，我請教課本，順利解決了問題（課本真是我們無聲的老師）。
喜歡上英語課的人，盼望老師布置更多的作業(yè)，不喜歡上英語課的人，則是在有英語課那天祈禱作業(yè)少一點(diǎn)。總結(jié)我做英語作業(yè)的體會(huì)：要想完成的好，必須喜歡它。我很喜歡英語，從小就對英語情有獨(dú)鐘，所以，我覺得，做英語作業(yè)并不難。
