As is known to all, many famous people have high IQ such as Albert Einstein, a thinking machine, who was considered as the greatest scientist of the 20th century. Does high IQ play an important part in one’s career? The answer is yes. However, with the development of our society, more and more studies show that EQ counts more than IQ in career.
眾所周知，許多著名人士都有著高智商比如說愛因斯坦，一部思考機(jī)器，被人們稱為20世紀(jì)最偉大的科學(xué)家。高智商在人的生涯中很重要嗎，答案是肯定的。但是隨著我們社會(huì)的發(fā)展，越來越多的研究表明，在職業(yè)生涯中情商比智商更重要。
Believe it or not, there are several reasons. In the beginning, IQ means cleverness and intelligence, and EQ stands for an ability of judging, dealing, adapting and so on. Furthermore, IQ represents rational while EQ is in the name of emotional. The latter one helps you get well along with other people by a positive way, which is more significant to your success. At last, high IQ just gets more knowledge and skills, but high EQ gains people’s respect, understanding and support.
不管你相信與否，有以下幾個(gè)理由。首先，智商代表著聰明與智慧，而情商代表著一種判斷、處理、適應(yīng)等等的能力。其次，智商代表著理性而情商代表著感性。而后者能夠幫助你與他人更好地相處，這對你的成功非常重要。最后，高智商僅僅給人以更多的知識(shí)和技能，但是高的情商得到的卻是人們的尊重，理解和支持。
In a word, EQ counts more than IQ in career. Please remember to improve your EQ if you are high in IQ.
總而言之，在職業(yè)生涯中情商比智商更重要。如果你有著高的智商，那么請記住要提高你的情商。

This is what I want to be.
If my English is as good as my Chinese, which I am working on, I want to be living with English. I will learn a trade in English, totally, such as a car technician. I will be able to use English to talk about all the 20,000 parts of a car, to talk about how to assemble a car with those 20,000 parts, and to assign jobs to my men when I become a supervisor. When I am in the trade of my choice, I will not use Chinese at all, because my men will not understand Chinese. They will understand English and many other languages but not Chinese. English is our working language, our socialising language.
Why do I plan my career as above? Because what I can do with Chinese I may not be able to do in English. If I want to do the same thing in both Chinese and English, I have to learn how to do it in both languages. That is a waste of my time.
When I want to become a car technician, I only need to learn the trade in English, thus wasting no time to learn the same trade again in Chinese, nor wasting time translating English into Chinese, which I know already.
My career will be a car technician in English. That is what I want to be.
這就是我想要的。
如果我的英語和我的中文一樣好,我在工作,我要生活在英語。我將學(xué)習(xí)英語,貿(mào)易完全,比如買一輛汽車技師。我將能夠用英語談?wù)撈嚨乃?0000個(gè)零件,談?wù)撊绾闻c20000個(gè)零件組裝一輛車,并將工作分配給我的人當(dāng)我成為主管。我貿(mào)易的選擇時(shí),我不會(huì)使用中文,因?yàn)槲业哪腥瞬粫?huì)理解中國。他們會(huì)懂英語和許多其他語言而不是中國。英語是我們的工作語言,社交語言。
為什么我計(jì)劃我的事業(yè)?因?yàn)槲夷茏鍪裁磁c中國英語我可能無法做。如果我想做同樣的事情中英文,我必須學(xué)習(xí)如何用兩種語言。這是一個(gè)浪費(fèi)我的時(shí)間。
當(dāng)我想成為一個(gè)汽車技師,我只需要學(xué)習(xí)英語的貿(mào)易,因此沒有浪費(fèi)時(shí)間學(xué)習(xí)同樣的貿(mào)易在中國,也不浪費(fèi)時(shí)間英文翻譯成中文,我已經(jīng)知道。

Talking about career,I've been planning since my first year in the university.
I always knew that I wanted to apply for english-related jobs.My dream career is an english interpreter.And I want to be an english teacher after I quit the interpreting job.I don't just want to be confined by one job.Changing my career once or twice,I can acquire different experience and enrich my life.As part of my career planning I made a strict schedule for myself to keep to.In my first year in university,I extended my vocabulary and learned grammar very hard.I knew that I should have a thorough grounding in english if I wanted to use it fluently in the future,especially if I wanted to translate freely.In grade two,I began to apply for some part-time interpreting jobs.I knew that I should gain enough work experience,so as to win in the exceedingly competitive job market.Moreover,I got to know more foreigners,who would help me a lot with my future job.Now In grade three,I begin to send my CV to foreign-owned companies for internship.I clearly know that it is too late if I send CV to apply for jobs when graduation is close-at-hand.In grade four,if the company where I have the internship is content with me,I would stay there after graduating from the university.If not,I would send CVs to other companies.After earning enough money and acquiring enough experience,I would change my career into an english teacher.Being a teacher I would have more spare time to be at my disposal.With my good mastering of english I think I am qualified for an english teacher.As for the teaching skills,I would certainly attend some good teachers' classes to learn from them.I would also communicate with the students to get to know what they are thinking and what they really need.During the years as a teacher,I would teach the students my own way of english learning,show the outside world to them,and introduce new ideas to them,so as to broaden their horizons.
