A.我國素稱禮儀之邦,其重視禮節(jié)程度不亞于歐美任何一國。但是由于中西風(fēng)俗習(xí)慣有很大的差異,如果我們對此不了解,在與英美人進行交往時,就會引起對方的誤會,發(fā)生不必要的`誤解。這里我僅把英美人在問候、告辭和稱呼上的禮節(jié)習(xí)慣介紹給大家,以便有助于大家的英語學(xué)習(xí)和同外國朋友的交往。
一、 Greetings 問候
我們中國人見面打招呼時習(xí)慣說:您吃過了嗎?(Have you eaten? / Have you had your meal?)或者說:您上哪去?(Where are you going? )。而英美人見面時如果是上午則說:Good morning. 如果是在下午則說:Good afternoon, 在傍晚就說:Good evening. 如果與熟人打招呼則說:How are you? 如果是與較熟的人或朋友打招呼則說:Hello, 或Hi. 如果用我們中國人見面打招呼時常說的Have you eaten?去問候英美人,就會引起對方的誤解,因為Have you eaten?在英語里不是打招呼用語,而是邀請對方去吃飯。如果見到英美人時說:Where are you going?他們會很不高興。因為Where are you going?對英美人來說則是即干涉別人的私事。
A.二、 Parting 告辭
到別人家串門或作客,告辭時,英美人習(xí)慣說:I should go now. 或 Id better be going now.意思都是我得走了。英美人在告辭時從不說:ll go back.(我回去了。)或ll go first.(我先走了。)因為在英語里, ll go first.的意思是:時間不早了,客人們該離開了。我先走給大家起了頭,其他客人也應(yīng)該馬上離去。
B.三、 Addressing People 稱呼
平時,我們常聽到學(xué)生稱呼老師為Teacher Wang(王老師),Teacher Li(李老師),即便對外籍教師也是如此稱呼。其實這是不符合英美人習(xí)慣的。在英語中,teacher不能用于稱呼。那么怎么來稱呼老師才符合英語習(xí)慣呢?一般來說,英美人稱呼中小學(xué)的男老師為Sir,或Mr,女教師為Miss,如 Mr wang Miss zhang Miss Green

jakki: I think the issue is that the parents are using this to intrude upon their children’s lives, both in terms of when their teenagers and so in school, but also as adults. Obviously they don’t live with their parents anymore but their parents follow them on WeChat or on Weibo. And then they actively comment and maybe get in touch directly like you know you post something at midnight then your parents call you and said “Why are you still up!” I think that’s the biggest problem. And I think as a parent you have to be very very careful because that is damaging to the relationship with your children. Especially as they get older they have a greater sense of autonomy. One of the reasons they moved out of the house is because don’t want you telling them what time to go to bed. And so I think on the one hand it’s important for parents to be involved in their children’s lives and more and more we’re seeing that are lives are happening more and more online. And so as a parent if I want to involve in my child’s life as much as possible, part of that is going to be involved their life online. But like I said there’s that very very fine line, difficult for many parents I imagine, you know when do you say something and when do you not. I think really if you want to know as much about what your kids are doing, don’t say anything, unless it’s amazingly important.

The first day is Sunday. On Sunday, I often watch TV and do homework. Then, I will help my mother do the housework. I can sweep the floor, clean the bedroom and cook the meals. So, Six o’clock PM, I help my sister cook the meals.
The second day is a day between Sunday and Tuesday. In Britain, it is the first day of the week. Today, I also go to school. I have Chinese, English and Moral Education on Monday.
The third day is the day after Monday. I don’t like Tuesday. Because on Tuesday we only have Chinese, English and math. It’s uninteresting. Because we often read in this day. So, I don’t like Tuesday.

B. One, cash:右手的大拇指.食指和中指在空中捏在一起或在另一只手上作出寫字的樣子,這是表示在飯館要付帳的手勢。
A. Two, use your brain: 用手指點點自己的太陽穴,就表示要動動腦筋。
B. Three, fool: 用大拇指按住鼻尖搖動其余四指,或十個手指分開。也常常用食指對著太陽穴轉(zhuǎn)動,同時吐出舌頭,表示所談到的人是個“癡呆”“傻瓜”。
A. Four, lying: 講話時,無意識地將一食指放在鼻子下面或鼻子邊時,表示別人一定會理解為講話人“講的不是真話”難以置信。
B. Five, agreement: 向上翹起拇指, 則表示贊同。
A. Six, congratulation:雙手在身前嘴部高度相搓的動作表示對別人的.祝賀。
