　　Good afternoon, Ladies and gentleman, Welcome to Shenzhen institute of technology. I'm a student from International commerce department. This is my teacher DAVID. I am here to share my experience with you. It's our great honor. Our department was established in . It has 3 majors: Secretarial science, Logistics, and Marketing. These majors are very welcome in market. International commerce department has more than 600 students in campus, There are about 30 teachers, most of them are master degree, and some of them has professor title. 2 years ago, I come to this school, and chose marketing as my major. I feel great here. Our teachers are always patient and dedicated. They share the commercial knowledge and experience in the class, and offer the opportunities to practice in enterprise. Yes, our department has set up relationship with many companies. Some of them are the world well-known enterprise. Such as Ikea, Ups, Konca, Maesk, Lenovo, Walmark, and so on. There are also many profession competitions in our department sponsored by the companies. I take part in the selling competition this years. I've got the final championship. Congratulations!

　　“Well, I do have a double room with one occupant,” admitted the manager,“ and he might be glad to split the cost. But to tell you the truth, he snores so loudly that people in adjoining rooms have complained in the past. I'm not sure it'd be worth it to you.”

　　“No problem,” the tired traveler assured him. “I'll take it.” The next morning, John came down to breakfast bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. When asked about how he slept, he replied, “Never better.” The manager was impressed. “No problem with the other guy snoring, then?”

　　“Nope. I shut him up in no time.” “How'd you manage that?”

　　“He was already in bed, snoring away, when I came in the room,” John said. “I went over, gave him a kiss on the cheek, said, 'Goodnight, beautiful.' With that he sat up all night watching me.”

Who can ignore the fact that we have established ourselves as a great state in the world, that we have devised our own nuclear weapons, that we have successfully sent our satellites into space, and that our GNP ranks No. 7 in the world? We have experienced the plunders by other nations, and we have experienced the war. Yet, based on such ruins, there still stands our nation----China, unyielding and unconquerable! I once came across an American tourist. She said, “China has a history of five thousand years, but the US only has a history of 200 years. Five thousand years ago, China took the lead in the world, and now it is the US that is leading.”My heart was deeply touched by these words. It is true that we're still a developing nation, but it doesn't mean that we can despise ourselves. We have such a long-standing history, we have such abundant resources, we have such intelligent and diligent people, and we have enough to be proud of. We have reasons to say proudly：we are sure to take the lead in the world in the future again, for our problems are big, but our ambition is even bigger, our challenges are great, but our will is evengreater. I am Chinese. I have inherited black hair and blackeyes. I have inherited the virtues of my ancestors. I have also taken over responsibility. I am sure, that wherever I go, whatever I do, I shall never forget that I am Chinese!

　　大家好！

　　我叫xx。這次我很榮幸能站在講臺上進行英語科代表的競選。這次，我要通過我的努力，成為老師的助手，同學的榜樣，我相信我一定能競選上英語科代表這個職務。

　　雖然我是一名中學生，但是我喜愛英語，成績更是在班里名列前茅。甚至有時候玩游戲我都玩英語的，雖然有些我不會念，但慢慢來，總是能學會的。再說了，這幾年我一直都是英語課代表，有一些經驗，我有責任、有能力為英語老師做好我力所能及的工作。

　　一個人最可憐的是無知，最可悲的是自私，最可敬的是拼搏。不管我競選成功與否，我都會讓自私、無知與我無緣。只有那一股子拼勁，為大家，為班級做事。我在每次的英語考試中都能達到95分以上，成績很不錯，此外，我有著強烈的責任心，有豐富的經驗，可以幫助老師做一些力所能及的事。如果我競選成功，我一定會全心全意地為同學服務。每天早上，我會帶領同學們進行早讀，并把同學的作業(yè)收齊。

　　我不僅英語學習成績好，而且我做的英文海報和我的英語書寫，也是很厲害的！我在業(yè)余時間里或假期里，我喜歡看英語報、讀英文書、唱英文歌……

　　我從二年級到五年級，都是英語課代表，所以我有決心和經驗來承擔英語課代表這個職責。雖然我的'口語能力還有待提高，但是我會繼續(xù)努力的！

　　如果我當上了英語課代表，我會盡力為老師和同學服務！

　　在課上，我會帶頭積極舉手發(fā)言；課下，如果有同學來問我不會的題，我也一定會耐心爽快地回答。如果遇到了一些難題，我會組織其他的同學共同探討，并尋求老師的幫助。正因為如此，我有信心做好一名英語科代表。

　　假如我落選了，我也不會傷心，因為那說明我還有許多缺點，我將繼續(xù)自我完善，因為每一個失敗都會提醒我下次努力。俗話說“失敗乃成功之母“，我還會繼續(xù)努力，找出自己的不足并及時改正，爭取下次能競選上。
