A poet said “To see a world in a grain of sand and a heaven in a wild flower hold infinity in the palm of your hand and eternity in ahour. Several days ago I had a chance to listen to a lecture. I learnt a lot there. I‘d like to share it with all of you. Let‘s show our right palms. We can see three lines that show how our love.career and life is. I have a short line of life. What about yours? I wondered whether we could see our future in this way. Well let‘s make a fist. where is our future? where is our love career and life? Tell me.Yeah it is in our hands. It is held in ourselves.

初一英語演講

We all want the future to be better than the past. But the future can go better itself. Don‘t cry because it is over smile because it happened. From the past we‘ve learnt that the life is tough but we are tougher. We‘ve learnt that we can‘t choose how we feel but we can choose what

about it. Failure doesn‘t mean you don‘t have it it does mean you should do it in a different way. Failure doesn‘t mean you should give up it does mean you must try harder.

As what I said at the beginning “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book whose pages are infinite”. The past has gone. Nothing we do will change it. But the future is in front of us. Believe that what we give to the world the world will give to us. And from today on let‘s be the owners of ourselves and speak out “We are the world we are the future.”

the world will open to you, but the key to that door is in your hand. you must do

your part, you must faithfully follow the plans you make and take the actions you

it, you will do it, and you will succeed!now stand firm and tall, make a fist, get excited, and yell it out: i must do

it! i can do it! i will do it! i will succeed! i must do it! i can do it! i will do

it! i will succeed! i must do it! i can do it! i will do it! i will succeed! it’s a very intresting topic today. i think my dad was a hero for me when i was a young child. wed go fishing, walks,

and other fun things for a kid. every child has a good and great father, and so do i. my dad played a very important

role in my daily life——exactly speaking, in my past 16 years. my father always stands in the center of my life, from past till now and possibly

  in the future.

my family was rather poor when i was in my childhood. we didnt have our own house

and had to live in a shabby, small room rented from my fathers factory. the room

was so small that there was little space for people to walk. i didnt have my own bed

and had to sleep with my parents. this is terrible both for my parents and me. but father made this all different!he works very hard on his own business, now

we have our own 2 housese, surly,i have my own room.and he take our family so much

happiness, richer and richer.when i was little, i did everything with my dad. you could always find me sitting

on his knee or walking and doing everything with him. every night he would read me

a bed time story and make the voices of each character. i learnt a lot from my daddy. i learnt to never take things to seriously and to

  always smile.

years pasted, my father is over 45 now. it is time for me to look after him and

i am sure i will do and we will live an even better life. and i will say,i really

love you dad, cause you are the hero in my mind.thank you so much! dear everyone. good evening, everyone! throughout my years of being a student, i’ve had many teachers. none of them

are the same, but the one that i’ll never forget and will always miss is my chinese

bilingual teacher in the middle school i attended in seattle, ms. ho. she was a skinny,

but stylish lady in her 50s. she was different from all the other teachers because

she gave me something unforgettable. today, i still keep in touch with her, and she still tells me how she believes

in me. sometimes, i’d think back, and wonder how i could handle all those things

if it wasn’t for her encouragement and trust. could i be the person i am today? then,

it struck me: what we need has always been trust and love of others; because these

things inspire us to do our best, and to live our life to its fullest. to sum up, i’d like to say to all of you: let us all appreciate trust and love

of others and achieve our full potential in our life!you will no longer fear making new sounds, showing new facial expressions, using

your body in new ways, approaching new people, and asking new questions. you will live

every single day of your life with absolute passion, and you will show your passion

through the words you speak and the actions you take. you will focus all your time

and effort on the most important goals of your life. you will never succumb to

“good morning! ladies and gentlemen”.

today, the title of my speech is “what life is about”

as we all know, the most important thing in life is our attitude towards it, lots of men have tried different ways of treating life, and some succeeded, some failed, and here are some of the tips they left us. life isn’t about keeping score. life isn’t about your shoes or your hair or the color of your skin. in fact it’s not about if you have lots of friends or if you are alone, and it’s not about how accepted or unaccepted you are. life just isn’t about that.

but life is about whom you love and who you hurt. it’s about how you feel about yourself. it’s about trust, happiness and compassion. life is about avoiding jealousy, overcoming ignorance and building confidence. it’s about what you say and what you mean. it’s about seeing people for who they are and not what they have. and we should always remember to be ourselves. other might have things that we desire but being what we really are is the only trail leading to the true colors of life. most of all, it’s about choosing to use your life to touch someone else’s in a way that could have never been achieved otherwise.

we’ve learnt how to make a living but not a life, we’ve added years to life, but not life to years. and it is time for us to choose whether to make a difference in our life.

and these choices are what life is about.

  thank you!

Hello every one! my name is *** .Today,I’d like to talk about mother’s love. Only mother’s love is true love .It gives everybody everything in all his life ,When you are still a baby ,mother takes good care of you as much as possible. In your waking hours she always holds you in her arms. When you are ill, she stops her work right now to look after you day and night and forgets about herself. When you are growing up day by day, she feels very happy. When you are old enough to go to school, mother still looks after you all the time. On cold winter days, she always tells you to put on more clothes. She always stands in the window waiting for you back from school. When you are hurry to leave home for school with out breakfast ,she feels worried about you at home. She usually knows about your study and spends much money on your school things . When you do well at school . you will see the brightest smile on her face. Mother is always ready to give everything she has to her children ,not to receive. What true love that is in the world !We will remember Mother love forever.

A friend of mine named Paul received an automobile from his brother as a Christmas present. On Christmas Eve when Paul came out of his office, a street urchin was walking around the shiny new car, admiring it.

"Is this your car, Mister?" he said.

Paul nodded. "My brother gave it to me for Christmas." The boy was astounded. "You mean your brother gave it to you and it didn’t cost you nothing? Boy, I wish . . ." He hesitated.

Of course Paul knew what he was going to wish for. He was going to wish he had a brother like that. But what the lad said jarred Paul all the way down to his heels.

"I wish," the boy went on, "That I could be a brother like that."

Paul looked at the boy in astonishment, then impulsively he added, "Would you like to take a ride in my car?"

  "Oh yes, Id love that."

After a short ride, the boy turned with his eyes aglow, said, "Mister, would you mind driving in front of my house?"

Paul smiled a little. He thought he knew what the lad wanted. He wanted to show his neighbors that he could ride home in a big automobile. But Paul was wrong again. "Will you stop where those two steps are?" the boy asked.

He ran up the steps. Then in a little while Paul heard him coming back, but he was not coming fast. He was carrying his little crippled brother. He sat him down on the bottom step, then sort of squeezed up against him and pointed to the car.

"There she is, Buddy, just like I told you upstairs. His brother gave it to him for Christmas and it didn’t cost him a cent. And some day Im gonna give you one just like it . . . then you can see for yourself all the pretty things in the Christmas windows that Ive been trying to tell you about." Paul got out and lifted the lad to the front seat of his car. The shining-eyed older brother climbed in beside him and the three of them began a memorable holiday ride. That Christmas Eve, Paul learned

what Jesus meant when he said: "It is more blessed to give . . . "

  Good morning everyone

It's a great honor for me to stand here to deliver a speech to you. Then today I want to talk something about dreams and reality.

As the famous Russian litterateur Lev Tolstoy (列夫、托爾斯泰)said, “Ideal is the beacon(煙火、燈塔). Without ideal, there is no secure (無慮的, 安全的, 安心的', 可靠的, 保險的)direction; without a direction, there is no life.” So there’s no doubt that everyone needs his or her own ideal. Have you ever thought that what is practical and sensible(.明智的, 有感覺的, 明理的) will connect with our most treasured dreams? Maybe, to somebody, reality has little relation to ideal. To others nothing can be done without the sense of reality. So make our dreams a part of our reality. And make our reality a part of our dreams. There is no reason why our dreams must oppose our reality. Improve our dreams and our reality by bringing them together.

As a university student, establishing a dream is one of the most important things we have to do .But everyone must see the reality clearly at first. Your family condition, your personal ability, your social intercourse (交往、交流), your subject and the job you want to do, these things show you the reality and lead you to establish a dream.

Further more, difficult or otherwise, we should put the power of reality into our dreams. Last but not least remember to work hard at the task of chasing 追逐our dreams. Do believe that we can achieve our ideal step by step by the passage of time!

In the end, I want to share with you a poetry named " I think I can".

Maybe you can not understand the meaning of the poetry , But do not be worried ,Let me tell you the meaning

  Thank you for your listening!

  A Place to Sleep

Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals.

Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry , fear , self Cdistrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .

Whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courag

  who deserves help

many years ago, there lived a very rich man who wanted to do

something for the people of his town. but first he wanted to find out whether they deserved his help. so he placed a very large stone in the center of the main road into town. then he hid behind a tree and waited. soon an old man came along with his cow.

"who put this stone in the center of the road" said the old man, but he did not try to remove the stone. instead, with some difficulty he passed around the stone and continued on his way. another man came along and did the same thing; then another came, and another. all of them complained about the stone in the center of the road, but not one of them tried to remove it. late in the afternoon, a young man came along. he saw the stone and said, "the night will be very dark. some neighbor will come along later in the dark and will fall against the stone. "

the young man then began to move the stone. he pushed and pulled with all his strength to move it to one side. but imagine his

surprise when under the stone he found a bag full of money and this message: "this money is for the thoughtful person who removes this stone from the road. that person deserves help."

hello everyone, today i'm very glad to be here to addrea speech about joking.

as we all feel, we are having a busy life -- busy working, busy studying, busy talking, busy eating, and even, busy falling asleep!in this rapid developing world,we have to be busy or we will fall behind

And I know what you're thinking. You know, I'm up here bagging out inspiration, and you're thinking, "Jeez, Stella, aren't you inspired sometimes by some things?" And the thing is, I am. I learn from other disabled people all the time.

I'm learning not that I am luckier than them, though. I am learning that it's a genius idea to use a pair of barbecue tongs to pick up things that you dropped. (Laughter) I'm learning that nifty trick where you can charge your mobile phone battery from your chair battery. Genius. We are learning from each others' strength and endurance, not against our bodies and our diagnoses, but against a world that exceptionalizes and objectifies us. I really think that this lie that we've been sold about disability is the greatest injustice. It makes life hard for us. And that quote, "The only disability in life is a bad attitude," the reason that that's bullshit is because it's just not true, because of the social model of disability. No amount of smiling at a flight of stairs has ever made it turn into a ramp. Never.

Smiling at a television screen isn't going to make closed captions appear for people who are deaf. No amount of standing in the middle of a bookshop and radiating a positive attitude is going to turn all those books into braille. It's just not going to happen.

初一英語演講12

In my 18 years of life, there have been many things. University days are the best part of them. I can never forget the days when I stepped into my university. I was impressed by its garden-like campus, its enthusiastic students and especially its learning atmosphere. I at once fell in love with it.

After the arduous military training, I get absolutely absorbed in my studies. The classes given by the teachers are excellent. They provide us with information not only from our textbooks but from many other sources as well. They easily arouse my insatiable desire to take in as much as I can.

Frankly speaking, at first I had some difficulty following the teachers. However, through my own efforts and thanks to my teachers' guidance, I made remarkable progress. Now I've benefited a lot from lectures and many other academic reports.

Learning is a long process; I'll keep exploring in the treasure house of knowledge to enrich myself. I also realize that only those who bring happiness for others can be truly happy. So I often take part in activities concerning public welfare.

Besides study and social practice, there are entertainments as well. I do body building every day, hoping to keep healthy and energetic.

Campus life is the most splendid time. But different people have different choices. The majority of students cherish their beautiful season and cherish the hope that one day they'll become outstanding. But there are indeed some students still under ignorance. They gather together for eating, drinking or playing cards. They're busy in searching for a girlfriend or a boyfriend. They forget completely about their mission as college students and the hope of their motherland.

Finally, I do hope everybody can try their best to become a worthy citizen of the country. I do hope everybody can become the backbone of our nation and make great contributions to society!

初一英語演講13

  Good afternoon,ladies and gentlemen!

I'm very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! To begin with,I want to ask a question .Does everybody dream a good dream last night?Actually ,today I want to talk about dream with you. Of course, What I want totalk is not a dream you have last night, but a dream—— about life.

Everyone has dreams about life, different dreams at different lifestage, and we need dreams to support us. Dreams are like the stars we never reachin the sky,but like most mariners,we can chart our course by them. With thedream,we have a direction, with a direction, we were no longer confused. With thedream, there is hope,With hope, we have the strength to fight.

I have a dream: To be a doctor.,because doctor may relieve the pain ofpatients. May let the human change the health. At the same time, I believedthat, those who help others may be able to obtain joyfully. Therefore, I hopedin the near future ,I might be a doctor.

But I know, life is tough, and there are always ups and downs, maybe we failin the way to our aims, and we may feel depressed ,whenever at this time, thedream in our heart can always comfort us, encourage us ,and support us to moveahead.

Young!Fortunately, I am young now. Just due to it, I know that nothing isimpossible.I firmly believe that nothing can stand in my way. If I can't realizemy dream,it result from that I haven't work harder enough and I won't find otherexcuses. If no people believe you, you can make it to prove that you are right. If you think the god haven't blessed you and there is no truth here, you canbecome the god and create the truth.

“My breath swallows the sky and make the yellow river overflow, my sword isfamous in Kyushu and it can collapse the five sacred mountains.” At some time inthe past I also had am bitious words and I had some achievements. Eachachievement results from my hard work. I always believe that “If you want tohave more achievements than others, you must work harder.” In some extent, thedream is the hope. If you can insist on doing something, the victory willcome.

Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken'winged bird thatcannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren fieldfrozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams.Whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today. Let's" move"out!

  Thank you for your listening!

Hello, ladies and gentlemen. I’m Angela Zhang from Class 4 Grade 8. Today, my topic is, “The Shanghai World Epo”.

First, I’ll say something about World Epo History. As we know, the very first World Epo, the Great Ehibition of 1851, took place in the Crystal Palace in London. UK. Ever since then, the goals of World Epos have been both high-minded as well as commercial. Visitors are able to eplore the world outside of their everyday eperience—outside cultures, new scientific advancements, and new inventions. World Epos have ecited and inspired more and more people in the world.

On December3, 20, the Bureau of International Epositions (or call it BIE) announced that Shanghai will host Epo20. the BIE had received bids from five cities to host Epo20. Among the 5 nice cities, the BIE chose Shanghai at last! It’s really an eciting news for not only Shanghainese, but also all of Chinese people. Here are some details about it.

Look at this profile carefully. The title is “The 20 World Eposition ,Shanghai, China ”. this is the logo.

And the theme is “better city., better life”.OK, let’s guess who is the image representative? Yeah, you’re right, Yao Ming!

Shanghai Epo is the first comprehensive World Epo held in a developing country. And it is also the first one that takes “the city” as its theme, hoping that it can push forward the city development and help bring about a better urban living environment, just like the theme: better city, better life.

I think, as a student in Shanghai, we should learn to be a gentle person and keep good manners from now on. And try to practice English more in order to communicate with foreigners fluently in the near future. Because, we’re a part of Shanghai!
