Good morning, esteemed faculty and families of my fellow graduates. It's an honor to be standing up here today. I know that we all think we're immortal, we're supposed to feel that way, we're graduating. The future is and should be bright, but, like our brief four years in high school, what makes life valuable is that it doesn't last forever, what makes it precious is that it ends. I know that now more than ever. And I say it today of all days to remind us that time is luck. So don't waste it living someone else's life, make yours count for something. Fight for what matters to you, no matter what. Because even if you fall short, what better way is there to live?
It’s easy to feel hopeful on a beautiful day like today. But there will be dark days ahead of us too. There will be days where you feel all alone. And that’s when hope is needed most. No matter how buried it gets, or how lost you feel, you must promise me that you will hold on to hope. Keep it alive. We have to be greater than what we suffer. My wish for you is to become hope. People need that. And even if we fail, what better way is there to live? As we look around here today, at all of the people who helped make us who we are, I know it feels like we’re saying goodbye. But we will carry a piece of each other into everything that we do next. To remind us of who we are, and who we are meant to be. I’ve had a great four years with you, and I will miss you all very much.
早上好，尊敬的各位老師及畢業(yè)生家長們。我很榮幸今天能站在這里。我們總以為青春是永駐的。多么理所當(dāng)然的想法�？山裉煳覀儺厴I(yè)了，如同這四年短暫的高中時(shí)光，生命的價(jià)值也恰恰在于它并非永垂不朽。生命因其有限而可貴�，F(xiàn)在的我深有體會(huì)。我之所以要在今天說這些，是想提醒大家，生即幸福。不要浪費(fèi)生命為別人而活，要活出你自己的意義，為你珍視的事物奮斗，心無旁騖。即便最后未能如愿，至少我們也曾精彩地活過。
在今天這樣晴朗的日子里很容易讓人產(chǎn)生希望。但人生的道路上也會(huì)有陰郁的日子。有讓你覺得孤獨(dú)的日子。這種時(shí)候才更要懷揣希望。不管有多遙不可及，不管有多痛苦失落。請(qǐng)向我保證，你都不會(huì)放棄希望。讓希望永存。我們要從痛苦中收獲堅(jiān)強(qiáng)。我對(duì)你們的希望是，成為他人的希望。人們需要希望。即便不能如愿，至少我們也曾精彩的活過。今天我們環(huán)視四周，所有我們幫助過的人造就了今天的我們。今天我們似乎就此分別，但我們未來做的每一件事里都會(huì)有彼此的影子。提醒自己我是誰，我想成為誰。我與諸位共度了美好的四年，我會(huì)想念你們所有人。
