(小學(xué)英語教師隨筆)閱讀,遇見更好的自己
林海霞 郎溪縣第三小學(xué)
做一個(gè)英語老師已經(jīng)有快十個(gè)年頭了,英語是我的興趣所在,我很熱愛我的工作,也很愿意花心思讓自己的教學(xué)更進(jìn)一步,讓學(xué)生學(xué)的更好。這樣才會(huì)有職業(yè)成就感,而不會(huì)有職業(yè)倦怠感。下面是我的一些學(xué)習(xí)感悟和實(shí)踐嘗試,希望對(duì)同行們有所啟發(fā)。
I have been an English teacher for about ten years. I am crazy about English and I have deep love for my job. Of course, I am willing to pay close attention to my teaching in order to make my teaching better and better while making my students learn better and better, in which way, I have a sense of accomplishment instead of burn-out. The following are some of my studying awareness and practice attempt. I hope they can activate the enthusiasm of some teachers who love English and students and are willing to make a progress on teaching.
教師需要注重自身的示范引導(dǎo)作用。想讓學(xué)生愛上英語,學(xué)好英語,老師也應(yīng)該是愛學(xué)習(xí)、對(duì)英語有興趣,其次要具備一定的專業(yè)素養(yǎng),所以做好常規(guī)教學(xué)的同時(shí),老師也要做到“活到老,學(xué)到老”,想一切辦法,找一切資源,看一些專業(yè)書籍來提高自己的專業(yè)水平,提高自己的專業(yè)能力。
Teachers need to pay attention to their own demonstration.If we want our students to learn English well and be interested in it, we teachers should make ourselves an example as well as improving our professional quality. So when doing our regular teaching well, we must be never too old to learn. We must try our best to find some excellent software ,learning resources and professional books to improve our professional level and abilities.
圖1是我手機(jī)里每天必學(xué)的課程,它們讓我的口語突飛猛進(jìn),詞匯量也是大增。從中學(xué)習(xí)到的一些歌曲也能用到平常的教學(xué)中。圖2是我百度網(wǎng)盤里存的學(xué)習(xí)資源。每天在上課、改作業(yè)結(jié)束后的間隙會(huì)看“一節(jié)好課”,做筆記,取長補(bǔ)短。我個(gè)人專業(yè)能力無形中得到了提升,參加一些比較大型的活動(dòng)也是獲得了不錯(cuò)的成績。
Picture 1 is the curriculum I learn every day in my cellphone which make my oral English further improved and some songs can put into my regular teaching. Meanwhile, I have accumulated more and more vocabulary. Picture 2 is my learning resources preserved in the baidu web disc. When finishing having classes and checking the homework, I will watch a brilliant lesson and make notes, then improve my teaching according to my students’ level. I benefit a lot unconsciously and get a good teaching grade from some
famous activities.
圖3和圖4都是我在課余所看的一些對(duì)自己教學(xué)和專業(yè)發(fā)展有幫助的書籍,看完后自己獲得了很多教學(xué)的靈感,明確了在教學(xué)過程中改進(jìn)的方向。比如我想寫一篇教育教學(xué)論文,想了一個(gè)話題,跟詞匯教學(xué)有關(guān),沒有理論的支撐,寫出來的句子也難有說服力。于是,我就仔細(xì)閱讀圖3和圖4兩本書,尋找對(duì)我有用的論點(diǎn),我從不知道論文寫什么,無話可寫,寫的太空洞到知道如何定話題,找材料,再寫出好的文章。我付出了努力,也有了回報(bào)。
Picture 3 and 4 are some books which are helpful to my teaching and professional development I read after the class. For example, I want to write a teaching thesis. I get a topic about vocabulary teaching,then I read the two books of picture 5 and 6 carefully and find some points which are helpful to my thesis. If we write a thesis which has no theory to support, the sentences can’t be persuaded by others. Before, I didn’t know how to and what to write and write with shallow points. Now I know how to assure a topic ,find some materials from professional books . I make efforts and get some good results.
只上課不反思的老師不是一位優(yōu)秀的老師。我不滿足于只教完這節(jié)課,而是喜歡結(jié)束一節(jié)課后坐下來對(duì)自己課上學(xué)生們遇到的、提出的問題或者學(xué)生們感興趣的好的點(diǎn)子做一個(gè)小小的反思筆記。做完筆記,思考自己的教學(xué),然后做出改進(jìn),經(jīng)驗(yàn)就是這樣一點(diǎn)點(diǎn)積累起來的。我的課堂不說學(xué)生多喜歡,至少是完整的、用心的課堂,學(xué)生們給我的回報(bào)就是我取得的不錯(cuò)的教學(xué)成績,創(chuàng)作一些能培養(yǎng)、提高他們學(xué)習(xí)能力的好的作品。
It is not an excellent teacher who just knows to give a lesson instead of making a teaching reflection. I am not satisfied with just giving lessons. I like to calm down to take simple notes about the problems the students face and some good ideas the students are interested in. After that, I will think about my teaching deeply and make a progress. I accumulate my teaching experiences in this way. No matter how much the students love my classes, at least it is a complete and full-of -heart class. What the students have done to me is good teaching grades and good works which can develop their abilities.
我通過反思、總結(jié)有了許多好的點(diǎn)子,就要在實(shí)踐中檢驗(yàn)它的效果,所以常規(guī)作業(yè)以外,我會(huì)布置一些創(chuàng)新的能提高學(xué)生能力的作業(yè),很多學(xué)生完成的也出乎我的意料,通過這樣的作業(yè),學(xué)生們的思維開闊很多,英語的學(xué)習(xí)能力進(jìn)步很多,不只局限于死的知識(shí),而是學(xué)會(huì)運(yùn)用。更重要的是讓我明白了,孩子們的潛力是無限的,有待我們?nèi)ラ_發(fā)。
After having some good ideas through reflection and summarizing, I will put them into practice to find out whether they are effective or not. So I will assign some creative homework which can develop the students’ abilities beyond the regular ones. Some students have finished very well out of my expectation. They are infinitely potential and wait for us to explore. Through such open homework, their thinking becomes more open and their learning abilities become stronger. They learn to use the knowledge instead of inflexible knowledge.
教學(xué)永不止步于此,讓我們繼續(xù)努力,讓教學(xué)之花盡情綻放吧。
Don’t let our teaching stop here. Let’s go on making efforts to make our teaching flowers blossom with our heart’s content.
