Unit 8 When is your birthday?

Task 1 班級生日冊

以小組為單位,互相詢問對方的生日,做好小組記錄,匯總成班級生日冊,并做簡單統(tǒng)計。如同一個月生日的人數(shù),同一日期生日的人數(shù)。

Step 1.讓學(xué)生觀察序數(shù)詞1--31的規(guī)律,發(fā)現(xiàn)并找到其中的規(guī)律,一般的以-th結(jié)尾,1,21,31都以-st結(jié)尾,2,22以-nd結(jié)尾,3,23以-rd結(jié)尾。

 (Ordinal number 1 st-31st.)

Step 2.互相詢問對方的生日,做好小組記錄。

Task 2 尋找同學(xué)們共同喜歡的日子

Step 1.課前,將全班分成四人一個小組,以小組為單位制作一個2002年的英文小日歷,要求學(xué)生用英文標上各個月份的名稱,并在日歷上標出本組成員喜歡的日子。

 Step 2. 展出各個小組的英文日歷,并說出在2002年中本組成員最感興趣的日子,為什么?
